The Pocatello, Idaho class of 1964 is a class that was split when the "new" Highland High School was completed and opened in 1963. The students attended Pocatello High School during their sophomore and junior years. When Highland opened, those students living within the boundary of HHS transferred to the new school for their senior year. Today, alums from both schools still celebrate combined reunions.

If you missed this one, you missed the best one yet!
We had approximately 120 classmates, spouses, and guests attend the reunion.
As always Friday night was exciting and there were many hugs, tears and much laughter.

Saturday events included a golf tournament for the duffers; and for the non-duffers, a no host brunch was available at the Holiday Inn Brass Rail restaurant. Those who attended these events enjoyed themselves immensely.
Saturday night featured more socializing, a multi-course buffet, and entertainment. Dancing to DJ’s ‘60s hits and more socializing followed dinner.
We would like to thank our emcee and class president, Don Olsen, who had many stories and tidbits of information about aging. He kept tears of laughter flowing for several minutes and the "Entertainers" Lorraine Hawkes Underwood and Becky Matthews Robinson sang “My Favorite Things” (from the “Sound of Music”) which was a special version for aging “Boomers.” Janice Lystrup Triplett asked that we sing a stanza from Poky’s fight song, "Beer, Beer." I don't think I've ever seen people cry singing a beer song. I guess there's a first time for everything!
Our classmates who are no longer with us, were honored with a slide show of remembrance designed by Anita Severe Herzog.
If you missed this 45th reunion, you missed a reasonably inexpensive and grand affair. If you are reading this website, set your goal to attend the 50th reunion in the summer of 2014. We have more than 500 classmates and we would like to see as many of you as possible!
